A stunning sensory sunken garden to liven up a dull corner was opened in July 2019.

The garden is wheelchair friendly and the planting was carefully chosen to stimulate the senses – including scented and edible plants. A water feature adds sound and enhances what is a quiet corner for both disabled and able-bodied visitors.

We have received substantial donations specifically for this project that has captured the imagination of many of our supporters.  The garden was the latest in an ongoing improvement program for our lovely little park.
